A friend has asked me if I could recommend a transformer to use in an Aikido line stage he wishes to build. He is thinking tube rectification so he will need .6 X 4= 2.4 amps for his 6.3 volt. He will be drawing 300volts and 15mA per channel. He is going to use the power supply board from Bas along with the Bas octal Aikido boards. He will be using two 6SN7GTB tubes per channel.

I have emailed him information as to the resistor values and such and would like to help make this first time experience a pleasant one for him. So, can you recommend a cost effective transformer that he could purchase here in the US?
