Throughout my Aikido, I have used the Vishay-Dale mil-spec high precision resistors. These are metal-film resistors in an axial package.
Now, I vaguely remember reading that they are not necessarily the best type of resistor to use for anything in the signal path. Is this true? What types / brands of axial (non-SMD) resistors would be ideal for such uses?

in my test, input stage use vishay dale * VTV tantulum was the best, go to 5687 cathode follower will use RMG.

the middle one was VTV.
beside brown & grey colour was audionote. But I like VTV most.
