Bias adjustment on Dynaco ST70

Hi,

Where do I measure the BIAS of this amplifier? The original manual is unclear on this point....

Where does the mulitmeter go?

You have two connectors in the front? Each have a hole that is marked "Biaset 1,56 V". Set your multimeter on 2 V. Put the read pin from the multimeter in the hole mentioned and the black pin on the chassis. Take the left side first. Use a screwdriver on the potmeter on the top of the chassis between the valves. Adjust the left potmeter til you read 1,56 V on the mulitmeter. Then move the red pin to the right connector/hole, and repeat the above. I a adjust to only 1,4 V (longer life on the valves, and the amplifier plays better, in mye opinion).

You can phone me, I am a norwegian +47 916 26 170;)

best wishes
