Default Nicely done...

Now I can read that Schematic...very clearly drawn...Now one question: what is "C-" is that an input or what exactly? Or is it another power rail?

Also, to simplify, could I use one tube to replace that bridge rectifier (i believe thats the correct name)?

Default -C

Hi Tony,

The - voltages are bias supply voltages.
See the PSU below at the bottom part.

Cheers,

Hi all,

I'm a little concerned about current stability in the output tube 6c33.

Cheers,

Is the iron Tango? 220mA is some serious current.

Hi,

Surely one of the US companys does an off the shelf 6c33 transformer?
I think the mains transformer will have to be specially wound, unless he wants to use 2 or 3. [I see no problem with that].

Hi,

There is a 6c33 design I've seen that uses cathode bias, and a more regular power supply.
From what I've heard, fixed bias on these is trouble.

I'll have a search,

Default Got it!

So the -C voltages apply bias to the output tubes? I think that I am understanding...And just checking, this is a stereo amp correct?

Noone has yet answered my question about replacing bridge rectifier...any takers?

Default BRIDGES

Not as it is now.
You could replace the SS diodes with 4 damper tubes but you'll need to feed the heaters as well.

Cheers,
