Why isn't it used more? I was just going through my tube stash and decided to finally look up these things. Turns out the tube is a dual triode, dc coupled internally. It requires no biasing and input grid is at 0 volts but doesn't draw a current. Gain is 58 and output is 4 watts into 7K load. Unfortunately, I can't find curves on the tube.
Anybody have experience with these? Looks like input can be R or rc coupled and you just wire a transformer in series with the tube and connect the cathode to B-. |
