9 pin replacement sockets

Hey,

I'm looking for oversized 9 pin sockets for an old console amp. The openings are 1" diameter and the spacing of the mounting holes are 1 5/16". The existing sockets are wafer type.

The size of the existing openings preclude the use of standard sockets with 1 1/8" spaced mounting holes.

These sockets are for 12ax7 and 6bq5 tubes.

I've already checked several online suppliers and eBay.

If there aren't suitable replacments available then I may plug the existing holes and put in the standard sockets. However this is a good deal of extra work, I'd prefer to find sockets that will work with the chassis as it is if possible.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Bottlehead sells some "hole shrinkers" that may or may not work- i'm not sure of the exact dimensions but you could email them.
