I've seen quite a bit of praise for there outputs as being bang for buck.
Needing/wanting some Push Pull UL outputs. (on the low side) I was looking for a 6600 plate to plate output rated at about 35watts, saw they had some 7600's at 25w in the cxpp series at $54 each then I looked at the 50w 6600's for $67 each, shoot for the price difference! Then I see the 60w ones are the same price as the 50? Missprint? Anyone have any thoughts on the edcor's I'm looking at? Is there any reason I wouldn't go with the 60w verse the 50w or 25w? How do they compare really to say hammond or even the triode electronics, for the money? Yah there's better out there, but how do they stuck up in the well priced output crowd? Any users out there? Or anyone go through the same process with other suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

I Just ordered a couple custom Transformers for a guitar amp project, But they will not be here until next week.
They seem like fairly a good company especially with their prices even on custom orders. If these work out ok, I have a few other custom orders to try out. Trout |

I agree, I just ordered some with leads instead of those tabs, It only costed an additional .89 cents! I am also getting a few PT's on special order. They are by no means fast, But they are excellent to do business with and deliver at their quoted time. Trout |

Sounds like the Edcor's are still goin strong!
No one's tried the larger Push Pull's? And or the cxpp series? I'm more then likely going to give um a shot in a few and I'll report back what I find. |
