Default How to solve noise/storing/on car Tube Amp ? any Schematic ?

I just finish my car tube amplifier and I need a "Filter" circuite diagram because of the alternator/engine noise that goes in to the amp (noise).

What kind of cap's do you have on it. You can also use the math and figuare the ripple coming off the alternator.

I just don't remimber the frquency they work at.

But if the amp isn't huge you can use a pi filter to do it or just 2 1 farad caps and a swinging cap.

( swinging cap is a high power pulse amp trick it's a high capacitance cap in seires with a 'lets say a 5 ohm resister of high wattage be for the other filter caps. )
The idea is that the resistor keep's the swing cap from completely discharging and quickly charges the other ones up so you see less of a drain from the other cap when they charge.

Don't forget to bypass the electrolytic in order to catch the harmonics.
