output tube options

I was wondering if there were any other output tube that could be driven from the same driver stage as a 300b /2a3.

I wanted to experiment a bit. I have a good driver stage that someone shared with me some time ago for a 300b amp but I just find those tubes and the trannies to go with them are just too pricey.

Are there others??

2A3 / 6B4, which requires less voltage and drive, and of course delivers less power. 6CK4 or triode wired 6AV5 for REALLY cheap. Triode wired EL34 or 6550 if you need the 8 watts that a 300B can do.
