Biasing a valve amp

Should there be a load on the amp whilst biasing the valves? Is conecting to the speakers ok? And I am right aren't I in thinking biasing is done without any signal feeding into the amp?

Thanks for viewing.

Yes, connect a load- speakers or a 10-20 ohm resistor, it's not critical. No signal. Should be easy for you.
