dynaco st35 clone problem

Hi
The power transformer of this little amp is dead. I have in stock a tranformer that have 295-0-295 volt with 120 ma. Did 120 ma is enought for this little amp.

Pascal,

The trafo you have is not suitable for service in a ST35. The spec's for the ST35 power trafo are here.

Triode Electronics carries an exact replacement for 59.95 USD.

What do you think of Hammond transfo. In the DIYtube paper for this amp they recommand the 270HX.

Good choice - 650 VCT @ 200 mA, 6A heater.
