Siemens/Klangfim 6.4 mono question..?

This is the SE version mono's with a single EL-84 & 2- ef86's. Question is I spent all day trying to get it to run off 120v.. No success. perfect off 240v..amazing actually, performance wise. But it has a adjustable voltage dial with about 5 differant setting. when set on 125v, & jumping with test clips on the power switch, I can not get it...it is a 2 pole switch..I got all the rest off the coversion done, by-passed everything in signal path, direct to ef-86.installed RCA's. etc... but it looks like I am going to have to run 240, till I get a brain storm..If you have messed with this amp or similar I would appreciate any help.I tried many, many differrant jumps & nothing, only 240 seems to work for me.
