Default Here is it

at the center of the picture:

on the left a good sonic complement, but not a stilish sample: a PL84 triode strapped line pemp. Note the bad level of finishing... in fact the preamp is mine (sigh!).

Hi to everybody

The 6EM7 integrated amp called Primo (PLovati original design) is at the moment “under measurement” by a friend of mine.
I haven’t any photos of it, except for this two:
http://www.paolopoli.it/Temp/Primo_web.jpg (not particularly well done)
and http://www.paolopoli.it/Temp/DSCN1795_Web.jpg
The frame is walnut wood made, with no special features but the dovetails joints (look at the picture), according with the low-cost spirit of the project: a bit over 100 euros when choosing selected components, maybe less with surplus.
Despite it, the sound is really interesting, especially considering his price category, even if mine sound much worst than the Lovati’s one, probably depending on a better fine tuning and, sure, by the presence of a pre-amp in his system.

Speaking of design, this one looks a bit more refined:

…but this is another story…(sorry for OT)

Paolo

Default Very Nice!

Thanks for all the photos. All the amps look very nice.

I am going to build mine quick-and-dirty. Just an aluminum chassis. No painting or finishing. I'll clean it and then spray it with a clear finish but that's about it.

I'm going to call it the Ugly SE Amp.

My goal is to build a good-sounding amp with as little expense and work as possible.

Call me cheap and lazy.
