Hey. I heard a little bit about power attenuator use with tube amps. I understand the concept of playing at the lower volume while pushing the power tubes to get a nicer sound. I just want to know about any pros and cons to using them other than that, such as shorter tube life. Thanks.

I think tube life would slightly decrease. As for everything else it would not matter. As long as you are not useing crazy expensive tubes i see no reason not to do this.
