I have eight diodes, would it be possible to see a diagram of how the connections should be made?

John,

It appears we used the same CAD system, Wobblyhand(tm).

It is a high resolution digtal programme giving a real time near analogue resolution.

Very realistic,I love it.

Cheers from a poor dude, not even a scanner in sight....

Default Re: Better?

No way. I like using Wobblyhand(tm), it's been the format of choice for real, creative engineers for decades.

True masters use the Napkin(tm) and Tablecloth(tm) plugins.

Default SMOKEY AND THE BANDITS

Hi,

LOL.

Better a smoking cigarette than a smoking amp.

Cheers,

Hi,

Thank you for all the help and the fun.

John, here is a pic of a layout for the bridge rectifier. Wanted to make sure my polarities are correct. Also, when I use my DMM on the diode, the continuity goes from the + pin to the metal on the mounting hole of the diode. Does this change anything?

That looks OK.
Just make sure the mounting doesn't short to anything.
There are isolation washers and bushes to get over this.
Next time buy the ones with plastic coated mountings.
