Hello Diy members,
I am looking for a schematic of a tube active crossover . I am only going to use the Low pass output ,crossover frec. is 160Hz Steve Bench has a nice design based on the 6dj8-ecc88 has anyone any experience with this design? Or has anyone built something similar? All info is welcome. |

Dear DIY Martin,
I am sorry if this is a duplicate message. Somehow I lost the previous reply I posted. I have never built or heard Steve Bench's active tube crossover, but I have built his 6088 battery-powered phono (only) pre-amp. I enjoyed building and listening to vinyl through this phono pre-amp. His discription of the pre-amp sonics are very good and accurate. He does not provide a description of the sonics for the active tube crossover, but I would expect that they would be good. I have also built a DIY Seduction phono pre-amp using the 6DJ6, which has good sonics. mark845 |
