Question Low pass active tube crossover

Hello Diy members,

I am looking for a schematic of a tube active crossover .
I am only going to use the Low pass output ,crossover frec. is 160Hz
Steve Bench has a nice design based on the 6dj8-ecc88
has anyone any experience with this design? Or has anyone built something similar?

All info is welcome.

Default Try TubeCad's Filter Designer

Hey Martin,

Are you aware of John Broskie's Filter Designer? $12.95 but worth every penny, just like all his software.

Default Steve Bench Projects

Dear DIY Martin,

I am sorry if this is a duplicate message. Somehow I lost the previous reply I posted. I have never built or heard Steve Bench's active tube crossover, but I have built his 6088 battery-powered phono (only) pre-amp. I enjoyed building and listening to vinyl through this phono pre-amp. His discription of the pre-amp sonics are very good and accurate. He does not provide a description of the sonics for the active tube crossover, but I would expect that they would be good. I have also built a DIY Seduction phono pre-amp using the 6DJ6, which has good sonics.
