Transmitter tubes

Anyone here know the name of some of the largest radio transmitter tubes. I recall someone posting a link to a japanese tube amp using one of the mid sized transmitter tubes, that I believe were in the 2-3 foot tall range it seemed, and I was curious how big they got, and what they were called. A friend asked just how big some of them got, and I had heard that some were 4+ feet long in some of the larger radio stations. At the same time, I know the forced air cooled modern transmitter tubes aren't that large at all, even in the 20-50,000 watt range. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Are you talking about this amp? The thread is http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...threadid=88502

The link to the amp is changed, the new link is

The webpage is in Chinese. The amp runs with reduced votage and wattage. Output 60W per channel.
