Default Trans. alignments

Help I'm running out of room on my chassis.
In an effort to fit everything I'm figuring I have to go vertical.
Viewed from the top front the mains are of course at 12 Oclock flanked by the opts' at 10 & 2 but now I have no room for the mains choke..or the stack of caps.(SS rectification).
I was thinking of piggybacking the choke on top of the mains.....could I keep the same core alignment as the mains?? The opts of course would be 90 degrees out from the mains & the caps would ride atop the opts but what of the alignments??

Not a good idea, you don't want flux from the power transformer coupling into the choke, or into the probably too close output transformers.

Sounds like you need to put the power supply on a separate chassis or if you have not yet started to build get a larger chassis.

Don't make the mistake of trying to cram a ton of stuff into a very small space, you'll regret it in the long run when you don't achieve the expected performance and the project due to lack of adequate space becomes really hard to work on.
