6N1 and 6N1P circuits can usually take 6922. Sometimes would require circuit adjustment, but worth a try.

Don't have data sheets but it'll give you a start.
You have to look at China tubes to find the 6N1
It says that equivalent is
6N1P, 6N1P-EB, 6N1P-EV

Urban myth. 6N1P is a normal tube ECC88/6922 is a frame grid.
I have both of them, and I have tested them. the 6n1p is an entirely different tube. that their pin compatable and will work to some extent seems only to keep the myth alive.

6N1P Is suited to do anything a 6sn7 will do in audio circuits.

Default How about the Chinese 6J1

Is there a good replacement for the China 6J1 valve?
I want to try some different tubes in a Little-Bear P5.
I heard that the 6554W JAN's is supposed to work and have better sound.

From the Chinese tube manual, the following can be sub'd for the 6J1 (please verify the actual specs yourself): 6AK5, 6F32, 5591, 5654, EF40, EF95.

Yes I have seen on some tube site that 6J1 is like 6AK5,as well as 5654, not sure about the others. But will post when I get some 5664w's for results.

I bought one of those little bear P5 preamps, please keep informing about other tubes that can match.

Thanks
