Just wondering, I've got an 115N060 relay tube here that I'd like to play with. The only info I've found is that it's a 60 second delay. From trial and error I figured the pinout but have no idea how to fire it up. Is this electromagnetic? Heated bimetallic strip? Any idea what voltage it would take to get these relays going or what kind of current this one can handle? 24DC does nothing. The prospect of a relay in a tube intrigues me though TIA!
WHAT'S IN A NAME?
Hi,
You must have overlooked it...
Now read again : ONE ONE FIVE=115V 60S
Nothing as easy as tubes.
BTW,that is an Amperite ignitron you're holding in your hands.
The tubeman,

GOOD TO SEE...
Hi,
Good to see some of us still carry some databooks.
I don't have my Amperite books around anymore but from experience they can carry more current than you'd expect.
Assuming the US runs at 110VAc you can expect these tubes to withstand a whopping 10 Amps at least.
If any of us can't find precise data,Amperite themselves still can.
Cheers,
