Worst that could happen?

I have an old Heathkit 20 watt mono tube amp that I love.

What is the worst that would happen if I wired both of my Martin Logan Ascent i's to the 4 ohm output?

Isn't that the same as running one of them off of the 8 ohm hook up?

What is the worst that could happen? Damage to amp or speakers?

Thanks,
Dominick

If each MLA is 8.0R, and you connect them in parallel, the worst that will happen is that each one will get half the power.
