Below are the spectum analysis on the output 6AS7G PSET, driver 5687 vs 6H6. Pout 6.2watts. At lower pout 6H6 wins on total thd.

I am using a 6N6P in a schematic designed for a 6H30,and first impressions are WOW!!! very little if any microphonics,it blows away any 12AU7 I've used,a wonderful tube,really cheap as well.

I recently rewired my 5687 simple linestage filament supply to use the 6N6P - I've always been a firm believer in the superiority of USA/Euro tubes - and the 6N6P has certainly changed my mind on that account.

Best bang for the buck tube out there.
