Hi sgerus,
I own a Tamura F-475, MagneQuest DS-025, Hammond 1628 (much earlier, smaller version), Hammond 125ESE... For the looks, I like the Tamura. For performance, I think at that price point, both the Tamura and MagneQuest are right on the money. I got the Tamura package- 2 x F-475 and 1 x A-395 choke for PhP14000 (you can use www.xe.com/ucc for conversion) The MagneQuest for US$300. I am very happy with both. Since my Hammond is the older version, I don't think anything I say about it will hold water now, as you can't buy that one anymore. Nevertheless, I have attached its 20kHz square wave response. |
