Explanation of the following picture:
The power transformer is a series connection of two 275-volt secondaries, using real-world values that I measured from no load.
R1 is 10W, as is R2.
C1 is a huge 1250V film cap I pulled from a CRT monitor.
C2 and C3 are two 500V sections of a big LCR chassis-mount cap.
C4 is a big snap-connector Rubycon cap I pulled from same CRT
L1 is a Hammond 193M Enclosed, 10H, 300ma, 63 ohms, 800VDC
L2 is a Hammond 159V Open-style, 1.5H, 500ma, 27 ohms, 500VDC
B+ ends up being just at about 385V, but that's assuming a 300mA load.
Question: Do I put the 1N4007's series or parallel to not exceed their voltage rating? I had to put 2x1N4007 in order not to get an error message.
My PSU
The PSUDII file is attached.
What do you think? Am I guessing the wrong current draw from two channels of the 20W schematic? I'd intended to use the secondaries in parallel but was only getting about 350V with decent filtering. Hum is about .4mV with this above design.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
