recently bought via ebay a small tube amp that looks very close to a heathkit UA-1 schematic wise that is.
TUBES ARE
6BQ5 x 2
12AX7 x 1
6an8 x 1

However, there is absolutely no label as to who made this or a manufacturer
It is obviously a kit of some type
The only markings are on a piece of the assembled unit
PA92-9 also a number 283 seperated by the power cord

Power transformer has PA-227 and 798852 stamped on it
measured output was green pair: 162.7 volts
7.6 volts

Audio transformer has pa-228b, 138913, and 28536 stamped on it

I have looked thru every old transformer catalouge i can find and cant see either of them listed anywhere

If anyone can find out some info on the transformers like who made these things, i would appreciate it very much

Thank You

Mike
