High-end Class A valve amplifiers will be illegal in USA?
|
I think that's the EU.
I'm a fan of anything that protects the environment and would support just about anything. But this, if it's correct, is retarded. It has nothing, or very little, to do with the environment. Do hunters still use lead? Are we still living in the 19th century? |
Another Edict from EU
Don't worry at least the user manual will be understandable

Perhaps we should prohibit mining of all metals (other than aluminium) as well, because mining digs out more mercury from the ground inevitably :whazzat: James |
It's easy to make fun of environmental issues. And nowhere did I say we should stop mining. Putting words in other people's mouths isn't nice.
If you are a hunter and use lead, you evidently don't care about the environment you hunt in. I would call such a man stupid, whoever he is. But this forum isn't the place for this. |

Deservedly so... |
I'm all for saving the planet..but,this seems a little.......silly.
:whazzat: Oh well,if Class A valve amps become illegal,it's not gonna stop me from building and using them. That's just stupid. Same with big heavy speaker enclosures. Tube amps are the *LEAST* of the planet's concerns. |
