A question for people who have build a JE Labs 300B. Do you find it necessary to use a preamp to drive it to full power? Does it have enough gain to be plugged directly to a 1 or 2 V source, such as a CD player or DAC?
thanks, Jay |

I built the DX version (76 driver) and with my Harman Kardon HD750 (1V out CD, 2V out HDCD) I find it to be sufficient for my 16 sqm room.

Greetings,
I built the stereo version and have no problem driving my Klipsch Quartets with a CDP as input. Brian |
