Research on tubes and circuits simple circuits

Hi, i'm recently new here on diyaudio, in fact about a few days or maybe a week... after searching on threads and what not i was quiet inpressed with the projects that other people have started...

it's my first time making a tube amplifier and i've been researching some information and finding schematic software i can use, if possible could anyone help me out with some research on tube types, fomulae and simple circuits so i can build my way up....
