Default M120 Schematic

Thanks once more to those kind enough to reply. The schematic is too large to upload to the forum (660K). If anyone would like a copy please email me personally and I'll send it along.

I believe the image hosting sites will accept pdf's. Post your pdf there... copy the URL/link... and embed it here.

Edit: O.K. that's poor example... but there are others...

Thanks to poobah, good idea.
If all goes correctly, the schematic should be here:

I just can't believe all the ideas coming across on this thread.

I have seen more action in a graveyard.

Hi Joe,
What were you doing in a graveyard?

I think a direction decision would be good, or more questions ....

Well Joe, grab the bull by the tail!

What tubes will drop into the 8417 sockets?

Look like all he would need is new cathode bias...

I emailed Triode Electronics and received this much:

"...the 8417 tube is a high power beam power tube and you probably could convert to 6550 pretty easily. The tubes both have the same pinout so you wouldn't have to rewire the sockets. the 6550 cannot handle quite as much screen voltage so I'm not familiar with your circuit but you may have to drop that a little..."

That's all, maybe it's helpful.

And I think the idling plate current needs to be dropped

The plate voltage seems way high for a 6550 as well

Where are the tubeheads???
