6c19p Se?

I have 10 pcs of 6C19P thought of using some for a SE amp, they could use a OPT off 3,5-4K ohm, right? And what about using another for the driver or is the aplification to low?Better use a E81L or E208F?
Any suggestions?:)

You can use 6c19p in SE, but output power will be low, about 1.5W.

And what about the driver and OPT kan I go as low as 2,5K?
Or as high as 4K?

2.5k OPT will be better than 4k,because 6c19p is low Rp tube(300-500Ohm). For driver- perhaps ECC88 or E180F in triode connection will be good.

What about using a 6C19P as the driver to?:xeye:

Not enough gain.

use a step up transformer on the input to bump up the gain.

6c19p as driver 6c19p is bad idea, because mu=2,5, but 6c19p is good driver tube for big power tubes, which like get some current to drive.

Ok,thanks for the answers,Im thinking maybee Paralell SE with this one, should the OPT be 1K then and it should withstand about 150-190mA,right?

Uchi Deshi 22nd May 2006 09:38 PM

OPT for max 160-180mA DC current should be O.K.(60mA-80mA per one tube).
