Any comments?
Its a kit from world designs, quite cheap at £325. Im looking for a kit to build for my first build and this seems to fit the bill, if its any good that is. This link should give you loads of quite pointless chat, then a scematic. Thanx http://www.world-designs.co.uk/acatalog/kel84.pdf |

you want cheap kit, get an integrated EL84 from ebay imported from HK, they are cheap( I bought one at 85 British Pound plus postage), you can also get circuit diagram as well.
From there you can experiment to your heart content. Also there is a good circuit on this forum for EL84 for free and you can modify your amp to this circuit. There you have an excellent amp. If you are interested put your email address here I will email you details. |

yeah, im deffinately interested.
Ive always been put off of buying from HK because of scams and import duty, but if you can point me in the right direction that would be great. So, buy a completed amp from HK, or are there kits available? If i read right, you say buy the completed amp, then modify its circuit. Sounds good to me. I am a complete novice, but even without instructions im sure i can work it out. My e.mail is whtf812@aol.com, or is that co.uk. I can never remember, could you send it to both, then ill deffinately get it. Thanx. |
