14gt8...clipping diodes?

I'm using the triode for a preamp in tiny cheap guitar amp I built.
I was wondering if I might be able to use the two diodes in it as clipping diodes to add distortion, similar to how its done in solid state transistor/opamp designs such as the mxr dist.+ / DOD 250.

Don't see why not. The diodes and triode are completely independent. These are small signal diodes, and it's a small signal useage.

hmm.. well how would I set it up on the output of the triode? obviously I'd need one diode going one way and the other the opposite direction.
