Have you guys seen this topology from Pathos?

Is this really something new?

A hybrid choke loaded follower? Well, I haven't seen one before, but then, I haven't seen a 65 tooth front chain ring on a bicycle either. I don't see anything particularly special or new about it.

Where's the return path for the cathode? If it really terminates at the MOSFET gate, I don't see how it can draw DC.

I just "stole" it from their website. Probably they're not revealing everything.

Just reading their description, they refer to the valve as if it were a previous stage. This circuit (in its incompleteness) reminds me of a class A2 transmitting triode thread I saw recently.
