Edcor amplifier --> 6l6 PP

Hi everyone,

I just got 2 sweet Edcor CXPP25-8-7.6K and a good quad of 6l6. Now I need to build something around this !

So it will be in UL mode to compensate the quality of the tranny, 2 separate amp for stereo and I tought of 6SL7 or 6SN7 for driving thoses tubes.

I dont want choke filter, since iron is costy. For the rectifier, diode or tube I dont care. For the power tranny I would like to get an Edcor or Hammond, one of theses that can drive the two channel.

I will start try to draw this circuit soon, but now I NEED your help ! MAX 25 W of output. If you have circuit or ressources that can help me it would be GREATLY apreciated.

Hi,

I'm not sure if UL compensates for the quality of the tranny or if it makes a bad one even worst

Anyway, those Edcor products are reported to be good

I showed that somewhere here few days ago:

A bit less classical, and no iron filtering, sand instead

nice. Do you think I could use EF802 instead?
