Just thinking about future projects,I found this http://digilander.libero.it/essentia...fier_+sche.htm
and it looks nice,but does anyone have a schema with usual transistors,not mos trasnsistors??

Nice! How much heat does it make,what heatsinks to use?
And a trafo 2x35v how big for 1 chanel?

2x50v DC isn´t it a little to high for class A at 30w?Just thinking.
If I where to try this one with regular transistors,e.x MJE 21193/94 or MJ15003/04 are there any changes needed to be made?

will it work with such a high voltage on rails in class A? Or if i lower them a bit maybee +- 35v?

5687,7044 or 6463 do they have any equalents like 12AT7 or..?

i recently built a hybrid amplifier useing 6922 front end.. there is a thread in this section and over in the solid state section about it..

Here is what I did, idle current is 500 mA, be sure to use multiturn potentiometers.
Oh didn't see you wanted bjt's instead of fets, why would you want that? |

this is what i did.... it still needs a bit of refineing and could probably do with haveing another SS stage added makeing it into a tripple darlington but it is all explained HERE I suggest you have a good read of that.. this is the circuit as it stands now and it is working on the bench, i have yet to refine it and build a final version as i got distracted by a chipamp... but it is a good start...
