I Get a Page that says
" THIS SITE DOES NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR VISITORS FROM THE USA & CANADA " http://www.svetlana-tubes.com/america.htm ouch,, I guess they dont like us anymore. Edit, Click the "rest of the world site and it opens, Under resources it says that USA and canada must go through a different site due to a trademark issue. |

Svetlana no longer holds the US trademark - sold as SED in the US.
If you want the data sheets and ap notes, they can still be found on the wayback machine... links on my site: http://www.audiophool.cjb.net/Techno.html |

The first time I went on Svetlana's site was 1½ year ago and the message was already there.

If you delete the word "america" from http://www.svetlana-tubes.com/america.htm
and just use http://www.svetlana-tubes.com/ you will get into their website for the rest of the world and get information about their products. It makes cool sounds every time you click on something. |

Just checked it out tonight, pretty slick.. I always liked their 6550C, 6L6GC, and EL34. Can't say the same for their 300B though, didn't sound all that great and of 12 I purchased 8 have failed. (Usually filament to grid short due to saging filament and poor tolerances when originally built. Types I, II and III) I no longer use their 300B or recommend them.
