I want to make a 6DJ8 tube buffer. I'm looking for a schematics that is using low voltage, if possible single +ve voltage. I found most are +ve -ve voltage.

SY's Heretical line stage, (search), is pretty simple, and sounds good. It does need two traffos, but I used a couple of junk box ones to good effect.

Steve Bench's crossover is a buffer that uses the 6DJ8.
http://members.aol.com/sbench101/Crossover/xover.gif Off course you must take the whole crossover network out of the circuit, that is. Hmm... should look like tha attached schematic. This is redrawn from steve bench's circuit.I DON'T WANT TO CLAME I DEVELOPED IT - it is just to make thinks clear. |

I found these two very similar schematics. Can they be modified to single +ve voltage?
Actually, what will be the expected performance difference between these two similar schematics? |
