CAT SL-1 Sig MkII

Does anybody have a copy of the schematic for the CAT SL-1 Sig MkII? Looking to do some mods to the power supply. Any ideas, thoughts would be appreciated.

Hello,

saw that there is no answer to your question. Have tried to get the schematic of the CAT for years, no chance.
Think we can get no Copy, because there is no Original, maybe everything is only in Ken Stevens
head.

If I would know of anyone willing to bring it over or whatever I'd draw up the circuit.

On the net,no luck so far.

Ken Stevens must have at least some sketches and most likely complete plans,after all these are limited production runs.

I heard really good things regarding the Fairchild Stealth schottkys. I just want to replace the in4007's, etc. in the power supply section. That mod should be easy to undo if I didn't like it. But on all accounts I've heard, it should be worthwhile mod.

I see.
I don't know for sure whether it's worth it sonically to change the 1N4007 for Schottky barriers but putting a snubber cap in parallel with the 1N4007 smoothes them nicely.

And of course the Schottkys benefit from that technique as well.
