i m starting to build my first tube amp ever ! my goal is to make a complete bass head to use for small concerts and for record , i built two tube preamps before ,,, but here s my first try to buil a valve amp ...
my resources here are too low , i just got two simiens el34 worked tubes and have a few 12at7 , and it maybe my last experience in valves ,and i just got the transformer and choke as a gift from a friend ( thanks a lot Bas ;) ) SO I HAVE TO MAKE THIS AMP WORK ! lol , ...
the first thing that s sooo important for me is NOISE ! lol , i wanna use this amp for recording and so i have to kill the noise ...
here s the chain i m goin to use :
a valve comp/limiter ==> ampeg bass preamp ==> marshall 50w power amp

..this project is so important for me and i want to start it , i m trying to go on step by step and report here to make this amp work well for sure with help of u guys ...

in first step i started to convert the amp schematic into a pcb lay out , i wanna build it on board , and i ll send the completed layout as soon as i finish it ;)
so any idea ? any mods ? any suggestion ?
