Ya Know? The White glue Idea might work, I know I used that technique in my cabinet maker days for veneering.

@nearly $30.00 per yard, Theres no such thing as scaps LOL
I have a few though, I think I'll try making a Tweed golf ball, If I can pull that off, I think anythings possible.

Give it whirl and tell us. I once had a restoration shop... did alot of old mercedes. We were always amazed at what old Gunter could wrap veneer or leather around (or steel for that matter). We were then more amazed when we learned to duplicate it.
