I want to replace EL34 tube , with 6p3s in a PP amplifier . It is posible ? Do i have to modify components values in the schematic ?

Yes it is possible. But first you have to do some homework..
![]() Download the datasheets of both tubes. i.e. EL34 and the Russian variant of the 6L6 (6P3S). Look at the pinout (what connects to which pin) Look at the max dissapation for each tube. Look at the max voltage for the plates/screen (if relevant) Look at the current consumption for each tube heater/filament Regards, Bas |
