Guys,
I'm getting ready to build Octal version of Aikido. Board with sockets and octal tubes is about 4" tall. What kind of enclosures do you guys use to house Aikido preamp? Pictures would be great. Thanks Sergey Dayton, OH |

Are you talking about John's board or some other third party Aikido board?
I just got John's magnificent board last night and I am thinking about it. |

Yes, I'm refering to John Broskie board.
I'm looking for ideas for enclosure. I looked into frontpanelexpress.com and they can make a great front panel with engraved letters for about $50. This still leaves the rest of the encosure in question. Would be nice to have a box of 5...6"high by 17"wide by 8...10" deep. It would house preamp board, volume pot and complete power supply. I have what you say. and pretty much all the components for the PS. The enclosure doesn't look super but it'll do, it's sort of "audio research"-style. I am going to put the money where it counts (components, pot, selector etc).
