Jolida tube amp grounding???

Dear all,

I have a jolida 502B integrated tube amp. I know that here everyone builds their own amps but I saw that my problem is a similar one to all. When I connect it to a grounded AC source the hum increases very much. I even nailed a copper rod in to the ground and nothing changed. As I read the forum I understand that there can be a loop. Is this possible with a commercial design? If possible how can I ground it properly.

Note: I use it with a cheater plug. It is far better than grounded connection.

Thanks for all

Kpars,

You will need to check to see if the powercords' neutral (the green and yellow wire with European stuff, think it is the white wire in the US,aint sure) is connected to the amps' chassis internally.

Therefore the amplifier has to be opened and inspected visually.

Is this possible with a commercial design?

Definitely possible.

Regards,:)
