Default Question on 300B tubes from Parts Connexion

Could anyone provide input on the difference between the Electro Harmonix 300B tubes that Parts Conn is offering-one is the 300B at $99 per matched pair and the other offering is the EH Gold at $119 per MP?

Thanks

George

One should ask why they are selling them so cheap, wholesale on these depending on quantity purchased is not much less than their asking price.

The EH gold as I recall has gold pins and gold plated filament wire.

Take a look at the New Sensor site, the differences should be spelled out a little more clearly there.

When I asked them, they said that these were loss leaders, and that they were hoping that people buying them would buy other stuff, become customers, etc.

The best way to find out the distinctions between the tubes is to call or email them and ask. They are quite friendly and helpful.
