From the RCA 813 datasheet:
Base.... Medium-Metal-Shell Giant 7-Pin with Bayonet. (JATEC No.A7-17) Theres one at the bottom of this page.

Build Ultranalog.com ColdWar with these with some Mazda 832's.
Few year's ago. Very nice amp. http://www.triodeelectronics.com/cersepsoc.html Be carefull, when mounting these sockets. They are not always perfectly flat. Thightening the screws to much is recipe for a small disaster. |

THX. Dimensions seem to fit perfectly with the other parts.
Are 6C33 and 813 using the some socket? On some www they are listed as different ... Gianluca |

Unfortunately not . The 813 has two pins larger than the rest. You may try to make them larger by using a drill but I belive it would by better to find two original sockets.

Thx, I supposed it ... looking at the socket's pics and at my 813's I noticed something different there.
I believe I will need to buy them overseas ... Ciao Gianluca |

Just asking, what topology are you going to use?
Any preliminary schematic? |

Just to scratch the surface
801A choke loaded, later on I will add an 807 as srpp leaving the choke as load 6uF paper/oil 1:2 step-up autoformer 813 SE bypass a la ultrapath; I think I will upgrade the OPT and go parafeed later. Not pretty sure, I am considering to have PP at the output stage ... leaving room for that. Heater will be DC (current regulated) I think I will use svetlana 6D22S in the PSU. Got plenty of motorrun caps. Ciao Gianluca |
