Hey all...
I'm thinking about building this preamp: http://diyparadise.com/preamptutorial.html but I have a few questions. What's the part number for a Hammond transformer that will work for something like this? I did some searching, and honestly, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for unless someone gives me a link to the one I need ![]() Also, I'm probably going to build this in an enclosed chassis. What's the best way to lay out the components inside - I was thinking of using a vertical metal plate to mount the tubes and chokes. Thanks in advance

jim_vt,
You will find in this page the specif for the transformer... http://diyparadise.com/simplepreamp.html 350-0-350V@100mA You could use 320 to 330 volts transfo and about 50 to 60 mA would be enough. Regards. Alain. |
