What is this guy for starters? The preamp taking shape?

Thats the current plan. House in the back is for the trafo to live in. Oval towers is 630/4uF PIOs. Round is electrolyt dummies. Two 11 H piled, they will get a house to. And a neat old AZ11 that have campered with the trafo since my granddaddy was young. And the 6V6es.

EMC and stuff will come as an express mail but thats what the proto is for working with.

Who will his mates be?

........ I think.............

you know that I know that you know ...... not just think

....... they came on a Serbian Korato I converted.

I'll be good Serb , so I would not say that you made wise decision

edit : I always had impression that VTL-like ( olde Marantz roots) topology is best bet for "safe" tube amp ; of course , spiced with CCS here and there :clown:

and that can be called both Yank and Jolly Good ;)

stajo - are you going to make QII knock-offs , or something "just" similar ?

nice work !

Thanks! Those are original chassies, but the electronics were pretty messed up when i bought them. Chisel rectifyers etc and some new handmade OPTs by a swedish very cunning guy. Copied the originals but made them sturdier. I was thinking of GZ34, newer resistors, check caps etc. As some chassiethings were missing im gonna make in and outputs as I please it. Its gonna sit on a narrow shelf over my working desk at home so it will be flat side out for all 3. Mostly to be used for listening when Im working and testing amp-builds on now and then.
