Yep, the PSU tranny's were projecting their field right through the tubes and OPT at first :-o Gave a bit of a hum at the output obviously.
I fixed it in the old amp too, i never made a new picture though.
I thought it would be a problem for the tranny's to be so close on my new amp, but it's quiet as a mouse.

Nope..it's right around the corner. The guy that winds Klare's transformers also live in Heerhugowaard.

Yep...great folks there. Was there just last week...got some silver wire and Bullet plugs...

Apparently Kim is going start to her own little business ..selling parts..and tubes..etc.
I get the idea that they do audio transformers is just because Wil likes it personally...I think he makes his money with normal transformers....

Klaas and Rene are great guys as well. We are quite lucky here in the kop van noord holland.

I got me some JJ caps a while ago. Those Black Gates were really tempting.....
Yep, the volumes will be small for this kind of audio stuff, but it is a hobby that grew out to something serious, thank goodness....

Buildings took about 6 months.

Power is 18W/8ohm.
Works in A/B class.
Weight 12kg(26,4lbs)
End transformer is Hammon 1640SE.
Tubes: 6L6EH and 12AU7EH/ECC82EH

You have the 6L6 in parallel triode I assume, with SRPP driver?

I don´t know, what that connection is in english, but it´s "vastavaihevahvistin" in finnish
If somebody is from finland, please say that in english

I even don´t know what SRPP means
This is my first tube amp project, and i haven´t had time to get to know about tubes
