Very nice...homemade chassis? The amplifier I built my dad for his 75th birthday. I just permanently repaired a PSU issue.

Fun little project.
You do some nice work Alex. Do you keep all your amps or sell some on? If so I'd be interested in your experience/s of selling your amplifiers.Just added, another amplifier, to my collection.
Minimalistic design for this RIAA Phono pre-amp, schematic by David Kennedy for dignified a vintage “brand new” from 1976 Sony Turntable PS-3750.
The goal was to build the power supply in the same chassis but at the end worked, the pre-amp is incredibly quiet, sound fantastically well, still need the printing and a good knob and some good foot for finish it, for now I am enjoy John Coltrane

Is there any problems with the MOSFETS being heat-sunk to wood?
I'd like to know what part you used for hooking the MOSFETS up to the circuit? The white connectors.
Thanks.
Hmmm...
12GT5/6GT5- interesting big bottle pentode novar. Seems few amps used this horizontal sweep tube, but those few seem quite happy w/ performance...
Big plate dissi- potential big sound capable?? What say you on your listening/ building experience KBX?
Thanks,
Jim

No problem with the mosfets I just move them out of the pcb for practical reason, in case one blows up are easy to replace, the white connectors are JST XH2.54mm 3 wire connector, the heat sink is not needed in this application for feed only 4 6N2P, real wood is also insulated so no problem....all the bestInteresting and attractive build on a couple of levels.

Thank you for the tip, just problem of space, but anyway in this case the mains does not give any problem....all the bestMoving the inputs and outputs to the left away from the mains might have been better.
It sounds the same as most of the amps I build with this family of tubes (GE5,AV5) TBH. Quite a fast/transparent amp really...Hmmm...

They are working as triodes... 320V@60mA Pd... 2k2:6R or 3k:8R load ratio.

Nice job in designing and fitting into a low profile chassis.Built another MA-1. This time using 12GT5 for output... Now to burn it in...

No screw holes is a very nice touchdetail of aluminum panel w/ heater and B+ switches morticed into veneered bullnose.
With the exception of the back panel, all chassis attachments are blind tapped - hence, no screws to be seen.
