Thank you Wavebourn , I found the sockets in a lockal electronic shop here in Athens , apparently he had the sockets from the time when he sold parts for tube televisions .

Wavebourn...why so many of us have cats?
Now,really....I realised that long time ago......I also see cats on many homes where the music play on audio sistems.
I have 2 tigers and allways came close to the tubes when they are ON.

очень спасибо Anatoly , BTW your name in Greek means East .
This cat helps me a lot to reduce the total harmonic distortion of the preamp , and he loves the preamp , he often sit or sleep near it , the next two fotos proves that and what felixx saying too .

Btw. Cassiel,

on a more serious note...

This is one interesting arrangement of materials on your amplifier in the last "nipple shot". What do those metal clamps serve for?
And the tubes look as if they were just set on the top of the black metal part (heatsink?)...

Very industrial looking

It's just a rough sketch, working on it. I want it to have a 'medieval' look. Iron, wood, torture chambers...
